Hank was a clothing retailer and a customer of Underworld who attended a New Year's Eve party hosted by Johnny Connor in his flat in December 2016. Johnny was called away on urgent business and Hank chatted to Aidan, complimenting him on following successfully in his dad's footsteps. Johnny returned way after the midnight countdown, grimy and covered with engine oil from his van breaking down and Hank reluctantly shook his hand. Later on, when Johnny announced his retirement from the business and handing over control to Aidan, Hank commented glibly that he would change his mind within the week.
