An undead king revived by powers of Chaos. Noya and Hwai meet it in a strange space as they travel to the Tower of Pride. The Monarch seems to be quite powerful and utilizes dark magic along with his sword and snake chariot. Hwei attempts to banish it with her power, and is able to reflect its attack but unable to finish the fight He proves little match for Noya however, and is subjugated by an enchanted bell. Noya uses the controlled monarch to pull him and Hwei in a wagon.
