Supersmurf is a character that appeared in the episode "Supersmurf". He is Brainy Smurf, a less-than-mild-mannered Smurf intellectual not working for a great metropolitan newspaper, who decided to use a spell from one of Papa Smurf's books that would give him super-strength, super-speed, and the ability to fly in order to rescue his village's food supply from Bigmouth the ogre when he took it upon one of his visits to the village. Though Brainy was able to give the orge a good thrashing with his newfound superpowers, they only lasted for about 2 hours, after which he reverted back to having normal Smurf abilities.
