The Sandy Point Community is home to over 700 inhabitants. The homes within the community are a mix of a vacation homes and full time homes. Sandy Point has a marina and a nine-hole golf course, swimming pool, and club house located at Sandy Point Heights. The golf course, built in 1970, is located on the northeast shore of Lummi Bay. A clubhouse located next to the golf course is equipped with a large outdoor pool that is heated and open during the summer months, with a playground and basketball hoop across the street.
