It can be found by failing some of the first traps in the Underground Pass and dropping into a pit; there are 3 spawns here. It serves as somewhat of a red herring in this quest; players often needlessly pick it up in the belief that it will be needed later on. The sunbathing tool leprechaun by the disease-free Troll Stronghold herb patch also sells them.
