Synthflesh was a meltable material that imitated natural flesh and was used to cover prothestic replacements. Some nanny droids were equipped with soft synthflesh arms. Synthflesh could also be used by healthy individuals as a means of disguise: by applying lumps of synthflesh putty to one's face, it was possible to alter the shapes of the nose, chin, and cheeks.
