Tokyo (東京 Tōkyō), was the capital of Japan from 1868 until 2080. Its Metro population reached 50,000,000 in year 2100. Tokyo became a Global Power City and ranked Al­pha++ in 2070 alongside with Nanjing and Beijing, following the decline of New York City and London. In 2080, the capital of Japan was relocated to Kobe shortly after becoming a republic. In Year 16,000, Tokyo would become the capital of the Universal Organisation, the League of Galaxies.
