The Third Battle of Vulcanis was a Dominion offensive against the Federation member world of Vulcan during the Dominion War in 2374. (LUG RPG: The Dominion War Sourcebook: The Fires of Armageddon) Following their victory at the Tibor Nebula the Dominion had the necessary supply lines to against strike at Vulcan. Days after their victory a fleet of nearly 400 warships move to attack the system.
