(Withdrawn from Wikipedia) Robert de Boron (also spelled in the manuscripts “Bouron”, “Beron”) was a French author of the late 12th and early 13th centuries, originally from the village of Boron, in the arrondissement of Montbéliard. He is the author of a prose account of the origin of the Grail which is known as the Joseph of Arimathea (Joseph d’Arimathea) and he may also be the author of its sequel, the Story of Merlin (Histoire de Merlin).
