The Festival of Life is a contest that is held every thirty years in Krewlod. The young people of the land get the chance to replace their clan leaders and compete for the throne of Krewlod. Kilgor became ruler of Krewlod after competing in the Festival, removing Winston Boragus from the throne. It was after observing a Festival of Life that Dracon's mother was inspired to take some red crystal and create the first crystal dragon.
