The continuity of Marvel sources, notably their comics, has been established as an alternate to the reality of Star Trek (and Star Trek within Star Trek as well). This includes their title X-Men, which had a trio of Star Trek—X-Men crossovers. For the purposes of this wiki's universe point-of-view, this reality can be referred to as alternate reality (X-Men).
