In Service of the Republic was the second story arc of the comic book series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. The story was written by Henry Gilroy, the head writer for the first season of the show, and Steven Melching, who wrote several episodes of the television series. The arc ran for three issues from July 15, 2009 to September 16, 2009.
