The Muurshantre were a species that dwelled within the Gunninga Gap several thousand years ago, but were forced into extinction through unknown means. It was thought that dealing with dark side energies had killed them off, which was a favorite theory of Cronal, who ventured to their worlds to find the Taurannik Codex. Although they were known as the Muurshantre, it is not known what they referred to themselves as, since the majority of the beings that studied them were unable to decipher their language.
