Advent Fighter squadrons, deployed from Capital Ships, Aeria Drone Hosts, or Hangar Defense structures, number 9 ships to a squad. They deal anti-light damage, making them particularly effective against bomber strike craft, long-range attack frigates, siege frigates, colony frigates, and logistic ships such as trade ships and constructors. The Advent fighter was changed from its original look to be slightly larger and have two lasers. The original fighter was cone shaped with fins on the side and can be seen in the original trailer, as well as the icon for the Anima Tempest Ultimate ability of the Halcyon Carrier. The new design bears a strong resemblance to the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird.
