The Indian Cave was located within the crypt belonging to the Slaughter Gulch cemetery. It was believed to have been the residence of the mysterious Indian (who is either alive or dead) and was a simple room with a fire in the middle. When Carnby was presumably killed, his spirit was sent to that location where he was reincarnated as a mountain lion and met with the mysterious indian.
