Col Voden was among the Mandalorians on Mandalore when Cadden Blackthorne arrived, and later became Mandalore. He was raised as a traditional-minded Mandalorian, and was known to take his heritage seriously. Col participated in the entirety of the New Mandalorian Crusade, and was known for his commanding presence and vigilant personality. Blackthorne took interest in Voden's skills and made him alor'ad (captain) in the newly formed Black Brigade, where he became responsible for leading his 200 shock troopers in forward assault operations throughout the Crusade.
