Oakleigh Barracks is located in the suburb of Oakleigh South. It is situated on North Road, close to Huntingdale Railway Station. It used to be home to the 4th Combat Service Support Battalion of the Australian Army Reserves before it moved to Broadmeadows. Currently, it is host to: 22 Construction Regiment, of the Royal Australian Engineers (RAE); 3rd Health Support Battalion, of the Royal Australian Army Medical Corps (RAAMC); and, 1 Petroleum Company, of the Royal Australian Army Ordnance Corps (RAAOC). The Barracks is also used for the purposes of the Australian Army Cadets, 302 Unit.
