An ultralift was a one-man atmospheric airspeeder that was often flown by recreational pilots. The craft consisted of a single repulsorlift engine, an open-air cockpit, and wings that were mounted above the seat and engine. Due to the light-weight nature of the craft, they were affected by air turbulence and proved to many newer pilots to be tricky to maneuver.
