Phillippe didn't see much of the Arsenal team until Arsene Wenger gave him his debut, and has played a lot of games, and had his number changed from 20 to 6. He joined from Servette, and is a Swiss defender who also played in the 2006 FIFA World Cup, playing alongside players like Hakan Yakin, Pascal Zuberbuhler, and Johan Djourou (also an Arsenal player).
