Baesk was the lord of House Hellad, one of the Tiste noble families of Kharkanas. Sukul Ankhadu described Lord Baesk as being an old man with gray features, much like the old grey hunting hound that had accompanied the man to Hish Tulla's estates. Lord Vanut Degalla mentioned him having two young children, though their genders remained undisclosed.
