Rovers' final game of the 2011–12 season ended in a 4–0 defeat at the hands of Dagenham & Redbridge. Neither side had much to play for since both were in mid-table positions, unable to reach the playoffs and safe from relegation, but it was The Daggers who were clearly the more fired up for the occasion. Danny Woodards was forced to leave the game in the closing stages after suffering a broken fibula in a challenge with Jake Reed.
