Hugo Hall appeared in the Sesamstrasse episode 2299, that aired in 2005. Finchen discovers that a echo, called Hugo Hall, have taken up residence in Samsons cave. Apparently he has lost his way and have been unable to find it's home in a small mountain, close to Sesamstrasse. Finchen decides to help Hugo Hall finding his mountain, so he can go home.
