This is a list of episodes for the Studio Pierrot anime series Blue Dragon, based on the video game of the same name (although it does not necessarily follow the video game's plot). This episode list covers the Blue Dragon anime episodes to date. The anime was originally scheduled to run for 51 episodes, but was extended into a second season. Starting 5 April 2008, the second season Blue Dragon, titled Blue Dragon Tenkai no Shichiryū(BLUE DRAGON 天界の七竜lit. Blue Dragon: The Seven Dragons of Heaven), began airing on TV Tokyo.
