Poo is a unit of mass equal to 40 funt (фунт, Russian pound). It was approximately 16.38 kilograms (36.11 pounds). It was used in Russia, Belarus, and Ukraine. Poo, along with other units of weight of the Imperial Russian weight measurement system, was abolished in the USSR in 1924. However, you can still find kettlebells being sold today that use the pood as the primary weight measurement. Typically these are sold in 0.5 pood increments.
