The 63rd Division was a Galactic Alliance Army unit, led by an unnamed Jedi Master and Brigadier Kammler, a Twi'lek. During the Imperial-Sith War, the 63rd saw no action, as it was stationed on the planet of Ord Mirit, in the Colonies. However, after the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances surrendered to the Fel Empire, the 63rd refused to join the Imperial Army. During the Second Imperial Civil War, it put up a resistance against Darth Krayt's Galactic Empire, as part of the Galactic Alliance Remnant. In the Battle of Ord Mirit, the 63rd was defeated, but the Jedi leader and several troopers survived, going on to join up with the Galactic Alliance Core Fleet, the main force of the Remnant.
