Urijah is the name of two priests and a prophet in the Tanakh or Old Testament, and means "The Lord is my light." The various Urijahs of the Bible include a high priest from the time of Ahaz (2 Kings 16: 10-16), one of those who stood at Ezra's pulpit when he read the law (Neh 8:4), and a prophet in the reign of Jehoiakim, king of Judah (Jer 26: 20-23).
