Auxiliary pedals were mechanisms located under the control console of certain starships, including the YT-1300 light freighter. They were operated by the pilot's feet, and were used to aim the batteries of the craft, especially the quad-guns. The Millennium Falcon incorporated a set of auxiliary pedals, when owned by Lando Calrissian around 3 BBY.
