1827 (Odiham) Squadron, formerly 2412(DF) was formed in November 2008 and became an independent squadron in November 2011. Odiham squadron is one of the few ATC squadrons to be located on an active Royal Air Force Station, RAF Odiham. The squadron have close ties with the station and often help out with station events and other ATC visits. Air Vice-Marshal Andy Turner is 1827 Squadron's Sqn President. He is an ex Station Commander at RAF Odiham and is currently OC 22 Group RAF, which is the section the Air Cadet Organisation falls under.
