The Khardh was a hairy, short-legged beast remotely related to the Bison. Thriving in the dark Tumarkhazad woods, they stood only three to three and one-half feet at the shoulder and could move through the unique forest with ease. The Dwarves used them as beasts of burden, and a few had actually been harnessed as mounts.
