Amer Nazir appeared on Coronation Street in August 2001 as Adil Aziz, the solicitor who represented Roy Cropper after he and wife Hayley were arrested for the abduction of Wayne Hayes. He returned to the programme in October 2015 and June 2016 as an Enquiry Officer manning the front desk of Weatherfield Police Station as Coronation Street residents called in with information during the Callum Logan murder investigation. His other credits include roles in Bob's Weekend, Stanton Blues, Mersey Beat, Keen Eddie, EastEnders, Jane Hall and Happy Valley.
