After weaving the needed hand signals, the user manipulates the grass in a small radius around them to stand up straight, then coats them with chakra, strengthening the blades of grass. This gives the grass the ability to cut into cloth, bare skin, and weak armor. Against shinobi, grass that is higher than one's foot is best for cutting into an opponent's foot or leg, disabling them and causing damage. Using this technique in high grass enables opponents to be cut in higher places. The user is unharmed by the ability however, and the technique can be used over extended periods of time.
