The Rebel Navy, also commonly called the Rebel Fleet or the Alliance Navy, was the naval arm of the Rebel Alliance. The navy fielded several hundred capital ships and thousands of fighters. Their most common opponent was the Galactic Empire's Imperial Navy, and the occasional pirate gang that decided to prey on Rebel convoys. After the war, it was reorganized into the New Republic navy.
