Lewis Darnell was a serial rapist who had served 18 years in prison for six rapes and was suspected of raping seven others. Despite Jack McCoy's attempts to deny him parole, Darnell was released from prison and moved to his daughter's residency, but he was later a suspect in the murder of Teresa Perez. He was subsequently beaten to death by his daughter when he attempted to rape her neighbor at knifepoint. (L&O: "Mad Dog")
