Grumbee Straightfurrer was a little mole of Southsward. He was the grandson of Furpp Straightfurrer and the brother of Porgoo and Burdill. He lived with his siblings and uncle in a hollow hill near Castle Floret. The little moles and their grandfather were viciously attacked by members of Urgan Nagru's horde and were rescued by Mariel, Dandin, Bowly Pintips and Meldrum Fallowthorn the Magnificient and his leveret squad. Grumbee and Burdill later packed an early breakfast for their rescuers when they went "eckertoimerin", molespeak for "reconnoitering". Not to be confused with Grumby or Grumby.
