He is friends with the Sick-Little-Well-Girl's family and was one of the few people who held suspicion of Dr. Ludwig von Saulsbourg who was working on her for four years with no progress. Ludwig became threatened by Jamison and suggested that the Sick-Little-Well-Girl be moved to his asylum. Jamison then sees Doctor Jack healing two elderly gentlemen using music and boxing gloves and decides to ask Doctor Jack to help the Sick-Little-Well-Girl and to ignore Ludwig's methods.
