In 2008, the publisher acquired the license to publish Star Trek novels in Germany after Heyne dropped all Star Trek-related releases. Later they started to produce audiobooks based on the material. In November 2015, Cross Cult announced their intention to publish the first original novel series in the German language: Star Trek: Prometheus.
