Ellen Seacrest was a Manticoran citizen and an officer of the Royal Manticoran Navy. Holding the rank of Captain (junior grade), she served as the commanding officer of the newly commissioned Roland-class destroyer HMS Lancelot. She died when her ship was destroyed by Admiral Byng of the Solarian League Navy during the New Tuscany Incident. (SI2)
