Skoval Hivanar, an ancestor of Rautos Hivanar, had been an Imperial Ceda of the Letherii Empire around the 965th year of Burn's Sleep (i.e., some two hundred years before the founding of the Malazan Empire). There existed a mosaic, depicting Skoval's investiture as Ceda, located in the grounds of the Hivanar Estate in Letheras.
