The final shipment of bombs needed to fulfill Robotnik's plan was on board the Robotnik Express, a train being conducted by Scratch and Grounder. After a run-in with Sonic, the train's brakes were broken therefore upon arrival, the train crashed into Robotnik's Emporium of Devestation, Destruction and Demolition, causing all the bombs, missiles and rockets to shoot off and explode, destroying the factory.
