Ashley practices his best man speech and Maxine nags him about drinking. Roy feels guilty about the boy who broke in, wishing he could have helped. Martin phones Carol Delaney to try and get in touch with Rebecca, they arrange to meet. Roy sees Wayne Hayes in the Builder's Yard and he invites him in the cafe for some food. Curly and Emma's wedding is a success. Deirdre catches the bouquet. Roy and Hayley take Wayne home so that he can have a bath. As Roy phones the police, Wayne overhears and tries to run away. Roy and Hayley talk to him and find out he lives in a Children's Home, but has just run away from his mother's where he was to spend Christmas.
