Jelle François Maria Van Damme (born 10 October 1983) is a Belgian international footballer who can play as a central defender, left back or left sided midfielder. He currently plays for and captains Major League Soccer club LA Galaxy, and has previously played for clubs in Belgium, England, Germany, and the Netherlands. He also has over 30 caps for the Belgium national football team.
