Prevent Sorcery (プリベントソーサリー: Prevent Sorcery) is a debilitating spell usable by Sorcerers, featured in Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume. It attempts to silence an enemy and can be learned with a Prevent Sorcery spellbook. As all debilitating spells, it can only be cast from the battle menu and cannot be multi-targeted. It is equivalent to the Dampen Magic spell from Valkyrie Profile and Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria. Description: Silences one enemy (80% chance).
