Leopold "Leo" Bloom is one of the two main characters in Mel Brook's musical masterpiece The Producers, The other main character being Max Bialystock. He is a timid accountant whose lifelong dream is to be a successful Producer. He is portrayed by Gene Wilder in the 1968 film and by Matthew Broderick in the 2001 theatre musical and the 2005 film.
