The Rifle Grunt is a unit used in both the GameCube video game Battalion Wars and its sequel Battalion Wars 2 for the Wii. They're the pawns of the video games, as they are easily killed by the opposing armies. They can fire their weapons from a relatively good distance (compared to the veterans) because of their M17 rifles. It's best to attack other infantry units when you're controlling a Rifle Grunt, as its vulnerable to most other enemy units.
