The outline of the Phantom's engines and Gravity lift are still visible after the hull disappears. When the glitch takes effect it is possible to stand on the gap over the Gravity Lift, but if you try to do this on any other part of the Phantom you will fall through it. You can also get on the turret on the Phantom.
