Bendu Hopeful was a title given to Force-sensitive individuals, no older than the age of thirteen, who were under consideration for training to become a Bendu Knight. When an individual became a Bendu Hopeful, they met with the Council of Priests, the governing body of the Bendu Order, for evaluation. Following the Council's evaluation, the Bendu High Priest would make the final decision as to whether they would become a Bendu Apprentice. If the Hopeful was accepted as an Apprentice, the High Priest would instruction them as to where, when, and with whom they would begin their training. Those who were not accepted were allowed to return to their homes and would not be permitted to request training again, though it was only on rare occasion that a Hopeful was turned away.Bendu Hierarchy on
