Oscar Scott Woody (April 15th, 1868 - April 15th, 1912) was a Postal Clerk on board the RMS Titanic. Woody was one of several Titanic passengers and crew that would have been celebrating his birthday April 15, and his fellow postal workers were planning a modest celebration for that morning. As a postal worker, he was employed separately from the rest of the ship's crew, by the postal service. He died during the ship's sinking while trying to move the post to a safer place. His body was later recovered from the disaster site by the Mackay-Bennett (#167), and he was buried at sea.
