Archer University was a regional university system in the state of New York, in North America on Earth. (Star Trek: Avenger: "Nearly a Valediction") On the centenary of Jonathan Archer's birth in 2212, the State University of New York system was renamed Archer University in honor of the storied space explorer and diplomat. The graduate medical schools were at Albany and Stony Brook, and each was affiliated with a local teaching hospital.
