Darpareth Vayd was a 'Trade Mistress' (i.e., navigator/sorceress/merchant) of the Trygalle Trade Guild. Darpareth Vayd, along with her entire Trygalle Guild equipage of horses and carriage, all her shareholders, as well as her client for the mission, Lady Sedara Orr (who had accompanied the caravan), had all been missing, without a trace, for some two years.
