Frontacian Houses are similiar in structure to Roman and Greek households. There are two types of houses: Lesser and Great. The Great Houses are the ruling ones, and are very few in number. They are the most powerful and the wealthiest families in Frontacian society and each of these Houses holds a seat on the Great Council that currently governs Sorcerer's Isle, although each territory is individually owned and operated by the respective Great House.
